I just saw the film Paper Heart starring Charlyne Yi and Michael Cera. I'm still not sure as to whether it was a documentary or not...but anyhow, it's a cute movie. It's a film about Charlyne who goes on a trip across America interviewing people about the subject of love.
I find Michael Cera really interesting..I haven't seen all of his film, only this, Juno, and Superbad but I can't decide whether he's a really good actor...or if that's just how he is?
I have to admit, he's quite adorable, but...he's not just cute. There seems to be a lot more to him than that.
So, anyway, watch this movie. It's quite...heartwarming...in the sense that you can fully understand the characters. I'd love to hear what you think.

This movie sounds sweet. Michael Cera is pretty great in that he just comes off as a regular everyday person. I saw Juno and Superbad and both movies made me laugh, mostly Suparbad. I also used to watch Arrested Development. Awesome show, definitely shouldn't have gotten cancelled, but whatevs.

ReplyDeleteHe seems to play the same awkward, shy character in all his films. But he plays it well, maybe he's like that in real life? Paper Heart is a cute movie though, I like how it's set up as a documentary but it's all actually scripted :)
ReplyDeleteHi wallflower, just found your blog through a series of fashion links. Hope you don't mind the intrusion.
ReplyDeletePaper Hearts is good and I like how it explores love from different angles. If you like Michael Cera, I think you should watch Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. He's plays a more central role, and has more character development. Quite adorable.
